Wedding Photography - Kim's Beachside Retreat Toowoon Bay, Central Coast - Mark & Kassie
Where do I begin with this one. Mark and Kassie have been great friends of mine from a very young age. And of course, that means shooting a wedding with all my best friends and primary school friends! When they told me they wanted me as their wedding photographer and having their wedding at Kim's Beachside Retreat Toowoon Bay, I was beyond excited. Mark and the boys had a very chilled morning with beers, music, and wondering how to tie a necktie. After a few moments at Mark’s house, it was over to Kim’s Beachside Retreat Toowoon Bay for Kassie’s wedding prep. This place is unbelievably photogenic! It almost feels like you’re not at Toowoon Bay on the Central Coast. I spent some time here making the most of the photo opportunities, with the girls relaxed but a little less chilled (which means more organised, would you trust the boys to be all over it? 😉).
The wedding ceremony was supposed to happen directly in front of Kim's Beachside Retreat Toowoon Bay Central Coast, however it happened to be an extremely windy day, so the ceremony was moved to Toowoon Bay SLSC, where the reception was also held. Everyone gathered around on the balcony, and watched Kassie walk down the isle with a huge smile on her face, and Mark shed a few happy tears with the look of disbelief at how stunning Kassie looked in her wedding dress. They mixed their own vials of sand together, to signify the entanglement of their individual lives to each other.
After the ceremony had finished, we walked around Kim's Beachside Retreat Toowoon Bay Central Coast, which had a huge variety of beautiful shooting locations, making my job as a wedding photographer easy! We tried a few shots on the beach, but straight away my hat was blown off. But newly-wed bride Kassie to the rescue! Although the wind was intense, we came away with some really fun shots!
The rest of the night was spent with great food, lots of drinks, big laughs with friends and dancing the night away in Toowoon Bay SLSC Central Coast for the reception. A fun little sparkler send off. This was a very special day for everyone, and I loved having the opportunity to be their wedding photographer on this perfect day
