Wedding Photography - Colo Vale, Southern Highlands Elopement Wedding - Madieson & Kurtis

After living abroad for a year and a half, shooting the elopement wedding of Madieson & Kurtis in Colo Vale, Southern Highlands south of Sydney was the perfect photography warm up. Not only did we have a beautiful, warm and sunny day (which actually can make a few challenges as a wedding photographer!), everyone was relaxed, with good vibes and ready to have their fun, special and intimate day together. The venue was all held at the one AirB&B, which felt like a large, modern day cottage. After a few beers, shots and wines, everyone dressed up and headed out to the ceremony area with their sun umbrellas.
Madieson & Kurtis said their vowels to each other, exchanged rings, shook hands, kissed, scribbled on some paper and skipped their way back down the very lengthly isle. This AirB&B in Southern Highlands near Sydney made it easy for myself as a wedding photographer, with every corner of the yard being photogenic full of lush gardens and greenery. With only a short amount of time. a 3 hour shoot in total, we were able to capture plenty of photos of the newly married couple (I mistyped newly Maddied couple - I guess that works?). After a short little photoshoot with their adorable little offspring, Lenny, they made it rain with wine, and had a personal chef cook up the most delicious food I’ve ever sampled at a wedding. The rest of the afternoon was spent eating food, drinking, and celebrating. As a wedding photographer and having quite a long time off shooting, leaving a wedding like this reminds me of why I love shooting wedding photography.

Congratulations again Madieson & Kurtis!
